Temporary

Whether you need one Associate for one day or several Associates for an extended project, DC SmartStaff will provide you with the right people, right when you need them. You can count on us to help you solve your immediate staffing needs. How it works: We charge an hourly bill rate and we take care of everything (taxes, worker's compensation, unemployment, etc.)! It's that simple.

Temp-to-Hire

If you’re not sure you’re ready to hire someone permanently, our temp-to-hire services can help you make the right match. We can search out and find a great candidate or we can place your potential candidate on our payroll.  Either way, you’ll have a three-month trial period during which you can evaluate a candidate on the job.  You’re under no obligation to hire a candidate permanently unless you both agree that it’s a good fit.  Our temp-to-hire services virtually eliminate the chances that you’ll make the wrong hire. How it works: We charge an hourly bill rate for the first three-month trial period as if the candidate were a temporary employee. After the trial period, if you decide to hire the candidate permanently, there is NO PLACEMENT FEE!

Direct Hire

Finding the right employee can be challenging, expensive, time-consuming and stressful on your team. DC SmartStaff can do it for you and make the entire process a breeze. We can tailor our comprehensive screening process to meet each individual client’s direct-hire needs. Let us know exactly what you’re looking for and we’ll find you someone perfect for the position. How it works: Our direct-hire placement fee is a percentage of the candidate's first year's salary. Although we do all recruiting and resume review, screening, interviewing, reference and background-checking, and evaluating of potential candidates, we only charge a placement fee if you hire the candidate!

Payroll Services

Our Payroll Services are designed to save you money. You can recruit candidates on your own and then place them on our payroll. This allows you to evaluate new employees on the job before you hire them permanently. You’ll be able to make sure your new hires are successful before you invest additional upfront capital in them.
